After I Recovered From Cancer, This Is What I Did……….
I remember this night so well. I had had my final cancer surgery a month before and I had found my way back to business as a professional speaker. 🗣🗣🗣 The University of WISCONSIN had hired me to speak at a conference and I was relaxing in the hotel room they provided for me. This was normally the time that I rehearse my talk for the next day and get in bed early. 🛏🥱 But not this night. I couldn’t calm my spirit. I just kept smiling 😍😊😉 at myself, moving back and forth between my camera and the mirror. 🤳🏽📸🤳🏽
I saw myself differently than I had before any presentation. 💭💭💭 I saw myself as GOD’S MIRACLE ……cancer free, pain free, and back to the business of pursuing my purpose. I pushed past my fear of unexpected fatigue and pain that I had experienced so many times when I was alone the 3 years prior to this night. That solo trip to Madison, WISCONSIN marked me choosing to take on every new opportunity to speak life and encouragement, and positivity 📈📈📈 and most importantly, a strategic plan into the lives of people dealing with seemingly dead situations. 🥰
I’m no stranger to pain and hardship and because of that, I KNOW there is life after pain. And everywhere I go, I’ll tell it! 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
You, too, can get up after you’ve been knocked down, and still pursue your dreams. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Will you keep running after your dreams even after dealing with hardship???
