Be You

This was me not too long ago.

I was really, really irritated 😠 by some foolish insult slung at me that I know I didn’t deserve.

I had an attitude after that. I didn’t feel like being bothered with anyone and I hadn’t even finished my morning cup of coffee. ☕️

But for some reason, I just walked to the bathroom to look at myself in the mirror. What I saw looking back at me made all the difference. 🥰

I saw a woman who has the power 💪🏾 to move beyond people who don’t have my best interest at heart. I saw a woman who has the power to speak 📣🗣📣 to my emotions to pull them back in check. And most importantly, I saw a woman who has the power to speak to my circumstances 🗻 with God’s Word, by faith 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾, until it changes in my favor.

I wear my pearls to remind me of who I really am when it counts the most. 👑👸🏾👑
